The Tournament of Champions returned to a three day format in
2004 with Friday, February 6, 2004 being set aside for a Knighthood Investiture
and State Officers Meeting.

State Master Councilor Chris Eells reviews the last minute plans
and assignments with his team of state officers.
The distinguished gentlemen pictured above with Executive Officer Marc Bohn served as judges for this year's
competition. From left to right: Dana Schwarz, Andre Lovas, Eddie Massaro,
Tom Lawrence, Bobby Simmons, Gary Lemmons, Sheldon Little, Dick Cunningham, Bill
Marsh, and Bill Carver.

Adam Fowler is elected Illustrious Knight Commander of
Knighthood. His good friend Kevin Tilley, who is the IKC from the St. Barnard's
Priory of the Southern California Jurisdiction flew in from the West Coast to
show his support. This is a powerful symbolic image of the breadth of Knighthood
as you see depicted here IKC's from the West Coast and the East Coast of the
United States shoulder to shoulder under an arch of steel made by James O'Neal
on the left, who had just been elected Squire Commander and Alex Williams on the
right, who had just been elected Page Commander.

Kevin was delighted with the growth of Georgia Knighthood and he
congratulated
Michael Griggers and John Butler upon their investiture into the Order.

State Senior Deacon Robert Warr lights the candles representing
the seven cardinal virtues of DeMolay as TOC officially gets underway.

The young men from Mountain Park Chapter are looking sharp as
Old Glory passes!

Junior Past State Executive Officer Bill Carver chats with Judges
Sheldon Little and Bill Marsh, as they get ready to judge the team competitions.

Moms Cheryl Bennett and Kim May have the DeMolay Trunk Store set
up and ready for business.

State Sweetheart Ginnie Poorbaugh is there to support the guys
and being a serious student, she is also taking care of homework!
Beth Mrazek, Samuel S. Lawrence's Sweetheart, gets a bear hug
from Junior Past State Master Councilor Mike Riley, who is now "Dad Riley" and
serving on Middle Georgia Chapter's Advisory Council.
