"Outch! Hot wax on my fingers!" Michael Rakestraw, Augusta Chapter really gets into his part in the dramatization of the DeMolay Degree. Actually he is clowning around showing us his imitation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Oh, so serious! Samuel S. Lawrence members Justin Nobles and Marcos de Los Santos wait patiently for their cue to enter the competition room for the Chapter Proficiency competition. Dad Nobles doesn't look a bit worried .... not a bit ... not even a teensy little bit ... not a miniscule little bit .... ok, so we admit it ... he's a little nervous!
"Why, no, Dad Griggers, I was not allowing Meagan to look at my secret ritual to help me study. She stole my book while I wasn't looking!" State Chaplain Alex Williams valiantly foils what he says is a flagrant attempt by the Clayton Sweetheart Meagan Rambler to learn the secrets entrusted to his care and known only to a DeMolay.
Hurry up .... wait, hurry up .... wait. The routine for TOC can wear the members and the advisors out. As the day wanes on, they begin to fall like flies.
"I was just talking away to him and he started snoring!" Mountain Park Sweetheart Ginnie Poorbaugh tries to figure out if she should just let Chris Hoff sleep or bop him on the head for falling off in the middle of their conversation.
"I'm not getting sleepy. I'm wide awake!" Peter Bard is ready to go head to head with the other sleepy competitors. No shortage of energy here. You could run a locomotive on this enthusiastic guy's get up and go.
