State Master Councilor Mike Riley introduced a new experience to
Georgia DeMolay as his fun event. The DeMolay Redneck Experience was held
on March 15 at the Al Sihah Shrine Center in Macon and was great
fun for all that attended.

DeMolays from all over Georgia gathered to receive
instructions on the competition rules and to receive a pep talk from Dad
Mike Riley, Chapter Dad of Middle Georgia Chapter and organizer of the
event.

Dad Riley was appropriately dressed for the DeMolay
Redneck Experience.

The Tire Toss competition gets things started and Mountain Park's Todd Stovall
goes for the longest throw.

Yikes! Duck! Taking photographs of the tire toss can be
dangerous. This photographer had to jump to the side after snapping this
shot to avoid being clobbered by Richie Eells of Mountain Park Chapter.
The Chapter Sweethearts got into the action too. Ginnie Poorbaugh,
Mountain Park's Sweetheart, gets a good toss.

Mike donated the hubcaps from his truck for the Hub Cap
Fling competition.

Wow! That one probably went into orbit.

Robert Warr and Craig Miller of Augusta Chapter easily win the Stick
and Pony Race, which required considerable coordination to run
together with a broom stick between the legs of the runners.

In a Redneck adaptation of the Three Legged Race,
competitors tied their legs together for this amazing feat of
coordination.
