The Order of Knighthood is an appendant group of DeMolay for members who are
age 17 and older. Each year, Georgia's Knighthood Priory holds its annual weekend
meeting, filled with fun, games, and lots of chivalry and merrimaking. It's called
the "Knighthood Joust".

Are you ready to join in on the fun? It's this way to the Joust!

This year's Joust was held at the beautiful Camp Dream, a resort located on the
Roosevelt Institute for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs, GA.

The Sir Knights and their Advisors and Squires (DeMolays age 16 and older invited
to attend by a Sir Knight) lodged in Calloway Lodge. The lodge
was complete with a beautiful deck overlooking the lake, vaulted ceilings, and hardwood
floors. The Knights spare no expense when it comes to having a weekend of fellowship.

The lake view was fantastic. Everyone spent their evenings sitting out on the deck
discussing and debating historic and Knightly topics.

The Illustrious Knight Commander is the highest ranking officer in the Priory.
Perry Bennett has been filling this office for the past few months. The task of
planning the Joust fell on his shoulders this year and he did a fantastic job! Perry and
Dad Jon Challen arrived early to the Joust on Friday evening to get everything set
up for the fun weekend ahead.

The fun started on Saturday morning. At the opening meeting, Perry fibs to
the guys and tells them that there is a toilet paper shortage this weekend. He tells them
that he did, however, come prepared and is willing to share. He passes around a roll of
toilet paper and tells everyone to "take what they will need".

After all have taken what they will need, Perry explains the real purpose
behind the toilet paper. Since the Priory encompasses all of Georgia, many of the
Knights and their Squires do not know each other very well. Knight Commander Perry
explains a "get to know you" game. For each square of toilet paper they
have taken, that person must tell one fact about themselves.

Sir Knight Adam Perry begins by telling some facts about himself.

Sir Knight Justin Nobles (also Georgia DeMolay's State Master Councilor) appears to have taken
quite a bit of toilet paper. Needless to say, all in attendance know quite a bit
about Justin now.

After going around the circle, everyone knew a lot more about each of the guys in
attendance. After a wonderful lunch prepared by the Roosevelt Center's staff, the
Knights decided it was time for some Knightly sports....
