Don R. Roberts' Snags Traveling Gavel

SAVANNAH, GA - On November 20, 2011, Don R. Roberts Chapter visited the Cecil Cheves Chapter. With 5 members and 2 advisors present The Don R. Roberts Chapter had one thing on their mind. To bring home the covenant ‘Traveling Gavel’ back to Brunswick where it has NOT been for many years. The Cecil Cheves Chapter was awarded the honor of the ‘Traveling Gavel’ at the 2011 Conclave on July 24, 2011 for having the largest percentage of their Chapter at Conclave. Cecil Cheves never has never physically received the ‘Traveling Gavel’. It has apparently been ‘misplaced’. Congratulations to Don R. Roberts Chapter for “Taking it Home… “ If your Chapter is in procession of the ‘Traveling Gavel’, please contact the Don R. Roberts Charter as soon as possible so they can arrange the exchange.

Cecil Cheves Chapter is symbolically passing the gavel to the Don R. Roberts Chapter.
