State Officers SOAR at Weekend Meeting
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - Last weekend, the Georgia DeMolay state officers came together for the annual SOAR (State Officers Accepting Responsibility) weekend.
The state officers discussed the new membership goals for the year and discussed new ways of advertising membership and bringing in members. On the Saturday of the weekend they attended a program at Lawrenceville Masonic Lodge where State Marshal James Hawkins gave the Flower Talk to commemorate Widows Day.
Further, the state officers discussed the education program for Georgia DeMolay with plans made for frequent Leadership Correspondence Course and Representative DeMolay classes around the state.
The state officers also discussed amongst themselves how to become better officers to serve the state of Georgia. Finally, on Sunday, State Master Councilor Donald Robertson finished the weekend with a few closing remarks encouraging the state officers to take to heart this year's "A Band of Brothers" state theme.
