Peachtree City Collects Canned Food for Day of Comfort


    FAYETTEVILLE, GA - Peachtree City Chapter Observed its obligatory Day of Comfort on Saturday, November 22 by collecting food to donate to the Fayette Samaritans. Collecting at the Wal-Mart Superstore in the Fayette Pavillion, they more than doubled the number of boxes collected last year by gathering more than 30 boxes of canned goods, and other non-perishable food items for distribution to needy families in Fayette County. Master Councilor Chad Greer was joined by Ty Beister, Thomas and Jonathan Waldman-Jones, and Mike Nichols, Jr. Mom Connie Nichols, Dad Todd Jones and Chapter Dad Skip Mason supervised and assisted in their very successful efforts.
