Emily Propes Crowned Mountain Park Chapter Sweetheart

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA - On August 25, at Mountain Park Chapter's regular meeting, Emily Propes was crowned as Chapter Sweetheart. Becky Palm, currently serving as State Sweetheart and the Junior Past Mountain Park Chapter Sweetheart, performed the crowning ceremony, including the sweetheart vow. Propes was elected sweetheart on August 11 during Mountain Park Chapter's annual sweetheart competition. Propes is a student at Oglethorpe University and a graduate of Parkview High School. State Master Councilor Michael Benedetti was in attendance and gave remarks about the value of the sweetheart program in Georgia.
