Peachtree City Chapter Supports Cancer Research at Relay for Life
FAYETTEVILLE, GA - Since Fayette County held the first Relay for Life event in Georgia this year,
Peachtree City chapter had the honor of being the first Georgia DeMolay chapter to show DeMolay support
for this American Cancer Society program.
Chapter members taking part included Greg Nichols, team captain, Chris Benedetti, Mike Benedetti, Alex Barnard,
Matt Campisi, Lanier Dixson, Matthew Lewis, Mike Nichols, C.J. Sellers, and Hunter Sullivan. They were
joined by Sweetheart Megan Logan and several of her friends; Mom Donna Swartz and her sisters, Shirley
Malphurf, Peggy Holloway, and Denise Bowlden; Mom Pam Rader, Cancer Survivor Carolyn Croft and her
husband Tommy and son Buddy, DeMolays Alan Moore and Jacob Somers, and Dad Mason and his wife Maria.
In addition to helping the American Cancer Society to raise over $75,000 in this one night, Peachtree
City Chapter received Relay for Life's Spirit Award in the Youth and Services Organization category.
