Real Champion Unveiled at Spring Jam
COVINGTON, GA - With another fun filled Spring Jam having passed, the question is, who won? Mountain Park
walked away with a nice triple crown sweeping ultimate frisbee, flag football, and dodge ball. It wasn't easy;
Peachtree City gave them a run for their money in both ultimate frisbee and flag football. Samuel S.
Lawrence didn't go down without a fight attempting to defend their title in dodge ball, but in the end
Mountain Park prevailed. In the individual sports Kyle Tew scraped a victory by one point in putt putt.
The Benedetti twins defended their title as the two-man canoe race champions. But the coveted sportsmanship
trophy went to the combined team of Don R. Roberts, Clayton, and Greater Augusta! All of the trophies aside,
the real champion is Georgia DeMolay. Four new guys were initiated Friday night.
And Georgia DeMolay had 93 people registered to attend. That is a huge number and we have already booked the
camp for next year, with the hope of bringing 110 next year! Eight chapters were in attendance for one of the
greatest weekends in Spring Jam history. Georgia DeMolay has not seen numbers like this in years. This is truly
More DeMolays in More Places!
