GA DeMolay Performs Degree for Masons at Rock Quarry
MINERAL BLUFF, GA - Georgia DeMolay once again performed the play portion of the DeMolay Degree for the Masons of North Georgia
at the annual Rock Quarry degree day on August 28. Members from six chapters across the state came together
to assist in the performance of the degree. One Mason who was also a Senior DeMolay from Michigan had commented
before the degree that he was very excited to be seeing the play again, because it had been many years since he
had last seen it. When asked afterward if it was how he had remembered the degree, he replied, "much better."
This year was made even more special by the presence of an actual candidate to witness the degree. David
Wellman from Samuel S. Lawrence made the trip with his father who is a Mason from Woodstock.
