International Master Councilor Visits Atlanta
METRO ATLANTA, GA - Thirty-seventh International Master Councilor Peter Brusoe visited Samuel
S. Lawrence and Mountain Park Chapters on January 5 and 6. Brother Brusoe arrived in Marietta at 8:30 am on January
5 and spent the day with Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter members Justin Nobles, Glenn VanNouhuys, and Peter Bard.
The group took in sights around Atlanta including the Carter Library and Museum and the World of Coke Museum.
On Monday evening January 5, the International Master Councilor attended the Samuel Lawrence Chapter meeting.
The Georgia State Officers, including State Master Councilor Chris Eells, and other visiting DeMolays from Middle Georgia,
Mountain Park, and Clayton Chapters attended as well. Executive Officer Marc Bohn and Region III Representative
Bill Carver were also present. Brother Brusoe presented several awards, distributed two membership patents, and
witnessed a DeMolay Degree during his visit.
On January 6, IMC Brusoe attended the Mountain Park Chapter meeting. Brother Brusoe complimented the newly
installed Chapter officers on an outstanding opening ceremony, as well as their excellent work promoting membership
growth. He also noted the Chapter's excellent planning of recent activities to assist in creating excitement
in the Chapter. The Chapter members presented the International Master Councilor with a sounding block for his gavel.
State Master Councilor Chris Eells was also in attendance and presented Brother Brusoe with his SMC Lapel Pin for the
year. Executive Officer Marc Bohn, the State Officer Corps, and visitors from Samuel S. Lawrence and Clayton Chapters
were also present. There was also a large Masonic delegation in attendance.
