GA DeMolay Raises Over $800 for the Red Cross
ATLANTA, GA - At a September 15 Reception honoring the new Georgia DeMolay State Officers,
newly-installed State Master Councilor Justin Nobles challenged the members of
Georgia DeMolay to raise money for the American Red Cross. The money would be earmarked for
the Red Cross Fund to assist the victims of the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington
on September 11. To encourage donations, a raffle was held in which the prize was a slow dance
with a State Officer or a Chapter Sweetheart. Additionally, some State Officers volunteered to auction
off their hair to help raise money. By the end of the night, Georgia DeMolay had raised over
$800 to help the victims of the terrorist attacks. To see how you can help, visit the
American Red Cross Web Site.
