Online LCC

LCC Overview:

The Leadership Correspondence Course (LCC) is a series of tests designed to increase your knowledge of DeMolay. There are five tests in all, each of which are written tests including multiple choice and true/false questions. Anyone can take the LCC: DeMolays, Advisors, Parents, Sweethearts, and friends are all encouraged to take it.

• Course #1 Basic DeMolay Knowledge: Upon successful completion DeMolays receive a white Merit Bar
• Course #2 Administration and Governance: Upon successful completion DeMolays receive a red Merit Bar
• Course #3 History and Heritage: Upon successful completion DeMolays receive a blue Merit Bar
• Course #4 Advanced DeMolay Knowledge: Upon successful completion DeMolays receive a purple Merit Bar
• Course #5 DeMolay Administration: Upon successful completion everyone receives the prestigious "Lamp of Knowledge" pin and certificate; DeMolays receive a gold Merit Bar
• Course #G Georgia DeMolay Knowledge: Course G is a "catch-up" course for those who completed Courses 1-5 prior to February 4, 2008. All questions in Course G are included in the current Courses 1-5. Course G is offered at no charge for anyone who completed Courses 1-5 prior to February 4, 2008. Course G is not required for those starting or currently completing the LCC.

You can take the LCC right here at Georgia DeMolay Online. The Online LCC is available for DeMolay Members, Advisors, Sweethearts, Parents, and Friends associated with DeMolay Chapters in Georgia. You will be required to provide a valid access code in order to access and submit the LCC courses. You can purchase an access code online immediately using a major credit card, or you can purchase a card containing an access code from the Georgia DeMolay State Parents Club at any state event.

Access Codes are available in the following denominations:

 "Access G"    FREE    Course G "Catch Up" Course

When logging in to the Online LCC, you must provide a Chapter name. Any certificates or merit bars you earn from the completion of the course you take will be mailed to the Chapter that you select for presentation. If you select "Georgia At Large", any certificates or merit bars will be distributed by the Georgia DeMolay State Office.

You may access the course as many times as you'd like until you submit your answers. You don't have to complete a course in its entirety once you log in and start. You can save your answers to come back at a later time. Your access code will remain valid (or will not be debited/charged) until you submit your course for grading and receive your score report. You can purchase access codes for Georgia DeMolay's Online LCC. The Georgia DeMolay Online LCC is only intended for the use of individuals associated with DeMolay in the state of Georgia, and not for the DeMolay community at large.

Please Note: If you wish to take Course G and completed Courses 1-5 prior to February 4, 2008, please contact webmaster [at] gademolay.org to receive a free "G" access code. The questions in Course G are included in the current Courses 1-5, so Course G is not required for those starting or currently completing the LCC.
